InflatAssist
This University project was designed to assist nurses in hospitals reposition patients during caretaking to reduce the strain on the nurses back.
The InflatAssist consists of 3 to 4 Inflatable Pillow that help to raise the Patient to an angle that allows for easier repositioning. All inflatables are connected to an air pump via a 4-way valve to select which of the pillows would be inflated.
After gathering information from key stakeholders and conducting market survey, we came up with the idea of a inflatable sheet to reposition patients, and drew sketches and mockups of the device.

When we were satisfied with how it looked, we began constructing the device using Off-the-shelf parts.
We then tested the device to ensure that there weren't any issues with inflation or use when repositioning the patient
