Competitive Robot Arena Building
This project focuses on building an arena to test the capabilities of the AgileX LIMO robot. The arena serves as a controlled environment where the robot's navigation, obstacle avoidance, and mapping functionalities are evaluated.
Additionally, the arena features the Singapore Marina Bay Sands landmark that serves as a focal point for viewers, allowing the robot to demonstrate its ability to localize and navigate based on visual cues within the environment.

Stage 1 Sketch:
The Team started with a sketch of how we wanted the arena to look like, ensuring that the most important features were represented.

Stage 2 3D prototyping:
Next, I created a 3D CAD model of the sketch design, ensuring that the features had proper dimension to accurately visualize the design.

Stage 3 Refinement:
Eventually we settled on the above design and began working on the physical arena.

Stage 4 Building physical:
For the physical arena, we began by purchasing the materials and began marking the areas for fabrication.

During initial tests of the robot navigation, we noticed issues with the robot's detection system and decided to aid robot navigation by adding walls around the arena path.
